Annual Black History Talent Show Celebrates Youth Creativity and Culture

The Miami-Dade NAACP Youth Council is proud to invite the community to its Annual Black History Talent Show, an evening dedicated to celebrating the creativity, history, and brilliance of our young people. This special event uplifts youth voices while honoring Black culture through performance, expression, and storytelling.

Join us on Monday, February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Golf Miami 305 (formerly The Resource Room) in Miami Gardens for an inspiring night filled with music, spoken word, dance, and more. Talented youth from across our community will take the stage to share their gifts and honor the legacy of Black excellence and resilience.

Youth performers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills on stage while competing for cash prizes that recognize excellence and dedication.

First place will receive a $300 cash prize, second place $200, and third place $100.

Your attendance and support help reinforce our commitment to youth leadership, advocacy, and civic engagement. We encourage families, educators, and community members to attend, cheer on our performers, and share this opportunity with young people who may wish to showcase their talents.

Together, we can celebrate history, invest in youth, and continue building pathways for the next generation of changemakers.

Help us spotlight the amazing talents of our youth while honoring Black history and culture. We encourage you to attend, support, and share this event with young people who may want to showcase their talents.
