During our first Board Meeting of the year, we officially welcomed our Board Members into their leadership roles for the new term. This moment marks an exciting step forward as we continue building a future rooted in service, collaboration, and meaningful action.

Looking Ahead: Strategic Action and Community Engagement
The Board Meeting was not only a celebration of leadership but also a launchpad for action. Key initiatives are already underway to guide our work in 2026 and beyond.
A two-day strategic planning retreat scheduled for late May will bring together staff and board leadership to align priorities and set a clear roadmap for the future.
In celebration of 25 years of service, The Resource Room is also preparing to launch a community fundraising campaign that invites supporters to give back in a meaningful and accessible way. This initiative reflects the power of collective impact and the importance of community investment.
Additional efforts include expanding board recruitment, strengthening internal collaboration, and preparing for major events such as the upcoming Crown and Legacy Gala.
