Position Overview
The Afterschool Site Leader oversees daily operations of the afterschool program and ensures high quality service delivery aligned with program goals and funder requirements. This role includes staff supervision, partnership management, data monitoring, and program compliance.
This leadership role is ideal for experienced youth development professionals with strong organizational and team leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the afterschool program
- Supervise Afterschool Counselors and support staff development
- Ensure program compliance with funder requirements
- Manage partnerships and community relationships
- Monitor data collection and service delivery
- Prepare reports for funders and support continuous program improvement
- Assist with student recruitment and intake processes
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or related field required
- At least two years of experience in youth program coordination or implementation
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing programs
- Ability to obtain the required 40 hour childcare license
- Experience working with youth in grades K–12
- Knowledge of community resources and youth serving organizations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Valid driver’s license required
