Do you work with the general public (bartender, barber, nail tech, etc.)? Are you passionate about making a positive difference in your community? Do you have strong ties to the neighborhood and a desire to support at-risk youth and adults? If so, we want you on our team!

About CHILL: The Community Helping Individuals Live Longer (CHILL) program is dedicated to fostering trust and redirecting negative behaviors that lead to gun-violence. We address the root causes of gun violence by connecting individuals with vital resources and support services. As a CHILL Ambassador, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating positive change and providing hope to those in need.

Role of CHILL Ambassadors:

• Identify and engage individuals in the community who are at risk and could benefit from support services.
• Provide information and targeted referrals to community resources.
• Attend weekly check-ins with the CHILL Program Manager or Case Manager to review referrals and check on cases.
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with participants and uphold program standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong ties to the community and a deep understanding of its dynamics.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with program staff.
• Previous experience with gun-violence and at-risk individuals preferred.

• Consultant Pay by Referral system- Get paid every time you help someone! 
• $25 per referral
• $20 an hour for training/admin work
